Returning for its 4th edition in 2026, the Energy Storage Summit Asia headed to the vibrant city of Bangkok, Thailand, at a pivotal moment for the region’s energy transition. As Thailand accelerated toward its target of 30% renewable energy by 2030, supported by progressive policies, growing investment in data centres, the Bangkok Energy Plan, and a commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2065, the Summit explored the critical challenges and opportunities shaping the future of energy storage across Asia.

Taking place alongside ASIA Sustainable Energy Week 2026 (ASEW), the region’s leading platform for advancing clean energy, the event brought together more than 30,000 visitors from over 60 countries and 1,400+ major brands. Together, the Summit and ASEW spotlighted renewable energy programmes, Thailand’s ambitious Net Zero journey, and the transformative initiatives driving the future of clean energy across Southeast Asia.

As Thailand and the wider Southeast Asian region moved rapidly toward a renewable energy future, the challenge was clear: move faster, collaborate more effectively, and scale deployment to stay on track for Net Zero ambitions. The Energy Storage Summit Asia served as a platform where key decisions were made, regional policy was examined, and investment and deployment strategies took shape.
