Achal Sondhi

Achal Sondhi is Head of Investment & Portfolio Management at Aquila Clean Energy Asia Pacific
where he is responsible for driving and growing the company’s clean energy portfolio across the region. With more than 15 years’ experience in renewable energy and investment, Achal has broad sector expertise including enabling, advising, developing and investing in gigawatts of transactions around the world. Most recently, Achal had a significant role in supporting the growth of BESS uptake around APAC as General Manager of Australia and VP of Growth, APAC at Fluence.

Prior to Fluence, he was the Vice President of Energy Financial Services at GE Capital, and he has also held key positions at AES and Symbior. Achal holds a BA in Economics, Statistcs and Mathematics from Macalester College and an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
