Allard Nooy
During his over 30 years in Asia, Allard Nooy established an excellent track record in the sustainable infrastructure and energy transition space in Asia’s emerging and frontier markets. With a key focus on implementing and developing growth strategies, he successfully led several infrastructure, renewable energy, and environmental companies, by creating new assets, acquiring existing assets and companies as well as structuring a range of projects like Private Public Partnerships (PPP) and Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) structures.
Among others, Allard’s previous roles include President of South & South East Asia of Fortescue Future Industries, CEO of InfraCo Asia, CEO of Jindal Aquasource and Jindal Ecopolis, President Asia Pacific at Covanta Energy Corporation and Regional Director of Infrastructure Development and Country Director China, for the Leighton Group in Asia, based in Hong Kong SAR.
In addition to his executive roles, Allard lectures at the Singapore Management University (SMU) a Public Private Partnership and Infrastructure Finance Program. Previously he lectured at the National University of Singapore (NUS), a Project Finance Academy Program.
He holds a BSc (Eng) in Engineering Management and an MBA in International Business.
