Christopher Ang

Christopher is Group Head of Infrastructure & Project Finance and leads a team of Project Finance bankers within UOB’s Group Investment Banking division. He has responsibility for origination, structuring and execution of specialised industry and project finance opportunities across the Group’s geographies, with a focus on the ASEAN region, Australia and New Zealand and North America.

With a track record garnered over more than 25 years in the structured, specialized and project finance sectors, Christopher has successfully advised on, originated, structured and financed transactions for clients globally, having worked in Singapore and Washington D.C. Christopher’s experience spans across industries typically suited to complex, non-recourse cashflow-centric projects, including but not limited to power & renewables, Energy+, renewables, core & social infrastructure incl. PPPs, natural resources and extractive industries and across various roles as advisor, structurer, financier and sponsors’ developer,.

Prior to joining UOB, he held senior regional positions including Head of Project Finance APAC at Credit Industriel et Commercial (CIC) and Head of Project Finance Debt Origination, Asia at ABN AMRO Bank N.V.

Christopher holds a Master of Engineering (Environmental) and a Bachelor of Engineering (2nd Upper) from the National University of Singapore, and is fluent in English, Mandarin and French.
