Kashish focuses on the energy storage market in Asia Pacific region, specifically market developments, future scenarios, supply chain dynamics and competitive strategies across the value chain. By closely monitoring industry actors, policy developments, markets and technology trends, Kashish provides clients with insightful and relevant research.

Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, he worked as an Energy Finance Analyst for the Institute for Energy Economics & Financial Analysis. He focused on various aspects of electricity markets of India and Australia. He co-authored more than 60 finance and policy-focused research reports and op-eds to appraise key issues across the value-chain of the energy markets. He specialised in grid-integration of variable renewables and  nascent-stage technologies such as battery storage, green hydrogen and offshore wind.

Kashish holds degrees in Electronics Engineering from NMIMS University (Mumbai) and Master of Economics from University of Sydney
