Lu Yang

Lu Yang is an Executive Director within the Clean Technology Investment Banking team at Standard Chartered. He is the regional lead for South-east Asia and Taiwan for the team, and have been involved in >USD10bn combined of Clean Technology transactions in the last decade with Standard Chartered. The Clean Technology sector team focuses on Renewable Energy, Environmental Solutions, E-Mobility and Green Hydrogen across investment banking products such as M&A, project finance, debt capital markets, leverage and mezzanine financing. Key recent transactions that Lu Yang was involved in the battery storage space includes an equity fundraising for an EV ecosystem fund in SEA, project financing of the 200 MW/400 MWh Rangebank BESS project, project finance advisory to one of the largest solar plus battery storage projects in SEA, debut bond issuance of CATL amongst several others.
