Melvin Gwee

Melvin joined Pentagreen Capital as investment director in June this year. Pentagreen was set up as a debt financing platform to accelerate the development of sustainable infrastructure in Asia. Melvin has over 13 years of experience in infrastructure and structured asset financing across Asia and the emerging markets. Most recently, Melvin was Executive Director at Natixis Corporate and Investment Bank in Singapore, leading a team of professionals to originate and finance a diversified portfolio of energy, renewable and infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia, including in Vietnam, Laos and other regional locations. Prior to Natixis, Melvin held progressively senior positions with ING and ANZ Banks across energy and infrastructure financing. In the course of his career Melvin has developed experience working with various stakeholders such as multilateral development banks to develop financing solutions to “marginally bankable” projects and situations.
