Teck Hao Tan

Teck Hao is the Head of Commercial (Singapore) at Sun Cable, a renewable energy developer aiming to develop the world’s largest renewable energy infrastructure network, making it possible to power whole cities with renewable energy. Sun Cable’s flagship project is the Australia-Asia PowerLink.

Teck Hao and his team undertake the sale of renewable energy from the Australia-Asia PowerLink in Singapore. This includes ensuring the quality of renewable energy and the structure of power purchase agreements are suitable to meet the sustainability requirements of customers in Singapore, as well as securing the requisite regulatory permits to undertake the sale.

Prior to joining Sun Cable, Teck Hao has a decade of experience in the Singapore energy industry, spanning regulatory, consulting, and commercial roles. Teck Hao holds a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Economics from University College London on a full-board undergraduate scholarship from the Energy Market Authority.
