Ben Hanrahan
Head of Power Trading, Asia Pacific ENGIE - Global Energy Management & Sales
Ben is the Head of Power Trading for ENGIE – Global Energy Management & Sales in the Asia Pacific region and has over 13 years of experience in the power industry.
He started his career in Australia with the utility Origin Energy, where he first worked in spot market scheduling before moving into power and renewables portfolio management. He managed the market optimization of assets ranging from gas turbines to wind to pumped storage hydropower.
In 2016, Ben joined ENGIE – Global Energy Management & Sales based in Singapore, where he is committed to supporting clients in managing risk and capturing opportunities in power markets throughout the APAC region including Singapore, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
